- All edits and suggestions will be noted using Track Changes and comments in Microsoft Word. No changes to the text will be applied without your review and approval. Manuscripts are edited using the Chicago Manual of Style and Merriam-Webster as references, unless otherwise directed. Please provide a style sheet upon manuscript submission if you have one.
- Please remember I am only human, not a character in a story. I will do my utmost to catch all of the imperfections in your manuscript and take pride in doing so. However, no manuscript is ever perfect.
- A nonrefundable $50 deposit per service is due at time of booking to hold your calendar spot. Deposit will be applied towards the final invoice. An initial quote based on approximate word count will be provided upon request. Invoice based on actual word count provided upon submission of completed manuscript. 50% of project cost will be due upon submission of manuscript. Work will begin once deposit, signed contract, and manuscript are received. Final payment is due upon completion of service. Manuscript will be returned once payment has been received in full.
- “Rush jobs” will be subject to an additional 25% fee.
- Final responsibility remains solely with the author. Editor takes no responsibility or liability for damages or costs incurred due to, but not limited to, errors or omissions in the manuscript or plagiarism by the author.
